For André Krysti, the music never stops.  Ever since she can remember, music has played in her head – non-stop.  “I have always had what I call a radio station playing in my head.  Not the music already playing on the radio – my original music that just plays in my head several times a day.”  

 

Krysti A. Wheaton, or André Krysti, discovered music at a very early age.  Her mother, an Indiana University School of Music graduate, started Krysti on the piano at age three.  Studying privately and in school, she went on to play the violin, voila, cello, guitar and all the saxophones.

A highly creative soul, Krysti completed her undergraduate education at California State University, Long Beach majoring in Radio, Television and Film and earned a master of science degree in Integrated Marketing Communications at Roosevelt University in Chicago.  She worked in radio for Johnson Publishing’s WLNR/WJPC, Crawford Broadcasting’s WYCA, Oldies 104.3 WJMK and Super ‘CFL.  After graduate school, she turned to marketing, brand and communications working at University of Chicago Medicine, BMO Harris Bank, Accenture and Eli Lilly.  Krysti exercised her entrepreneurial spirit by starting André Krysti in 2003 serving as the right hand to busy corporate marketing departments and small businesses and took Celebration Citi, LLC, a branded memorial services design firm with a digital platform, from ideation to operation.

 

In 2015, Krysti returned to Los Angeles to study Screenwriting at UCLA, but also enrolled in The Los Angeles Film School/Los Angeles Recording School to study Music Production.  Graduating with an associate of science degree in 2017, André Krysti is on a mission to farm every note of music playing in her head as she continues to develop into a master content creator.
